ABOUT US: In My Toolbox
Founded in 2017, In My Toolbox (IMTB) is a hands-on program focusing on students learning from their creations. Our programs serves grades PreK-5 and individuals who have special needs.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to actively engage students to learn from their creations. We plan to harness skills that will create future innovators.
What We Do
In My Toolbox (IMTB) uses most items that can be found in the home to create DIY (Do-It-Yourself) projects. The projects include STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. STEAM is an educational approach that challenges students to explore different solutions to solve problems. The goal of IMTB is to create a fun learning experience. Students will find alternative solutions to learn from re-purposed household items. Learning is more desirable, when students experience things first hand.

IMTB wants to create future innovators by preparing students for educational success. We mixed in 21st Century Skills into our workshops to provide students with an academic advantage. 21st Century Skills are a set of skills focused on teamwork, creativity, problem solving, and the ability to share ideas with others. IMTB helps students sharpen tools to increase classroom engagement. Students are more likely to develop skills faster, when they are having fun.
